The 29th. Annual General Meeting of the Lichfield and Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust Ltd. was held at the Park View Centre, Chester Road North, Brownhills, Walsall WS8 7JB on Friday 7th. June 2019 at 7.15 pm.
About 60 people came to our AGM this evening. After the various reports we unanimously re-elected Directors Peter Buck, Stefan Szulc and Bob Williams who were retiring by rotation and, re eligible to stand for re-election:.
We were then especially pleased to welcome to the board Brian Williams as Membership Director and Derek Lord as Technical Director.
After the conclusion of the formal business Peter Walker, Head of Technical Support at Canal & River Trust gave an interesting talk on the role of CRT.
Finally it was time for a cup of tea and a look at our new
merchandise including a brand new mug sporting the QAVS logo. All can be found in our Online Shop.
